The Mental Health Association of Alameda County (MHAAC) serves people with mental illness and their families throughout Alameda County, California. The MHAAC is a non-profit agency governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. eighteen individuals currently serve on the MHAAC Board.

MHAAC's current fiscal year budget is $1,300,000; of this, 90% comes from contracts with Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services and San Mateo County Mental Health Services and the remainder from special events revenue and individual contributions.
